Earlier this afternoon the Tucson Office of the National Weather Service tweeted that today was the 8th day in a row over 80 degrees breaking the old record of 7 straight days hit in 1989 and again in 1995.  Here’s a screen shot of that tweet.

The really bad news is the forecast is for temperatures above 90 at least through the weekend!  This record will be SHATTERED!
